John graduated from American University, Washington College of Law, and is licensed in Virginia, D.C., Georgia and New Jersey. He is a retired Air Force Military Officer (Colonel) and Aviator, and brings a lifetime of experience in working through the impossible to get results. He has been a Secretary of Defense Executive Fellow, the Chief of Strategy for the Air Force Reserve, worked closely with senior leaders, and brings a broad perspective that makes him, the firm's team, and their law firm different from other estate planners that only provide documents and view clients as just another transaction.

John is a co-chair of the Wills, Trusts and Estate Section of the Fairfax County Bar Association, is active in his local church, and provides educational workshops at no cost to local communities.

And, most importantly, John is a husband to his wife Amse, and father of three wonderful children: EV, Caroline, and Henry.
